Nutty, Marzipan nose with a touch of caramel and honey. Medium acidity, well-structured wine with excellent palate weight. It’s really good wine.

VINTAGE NOTES
54% Sémillon from Franschhoek, planted in 1962 and 1973, and 46% Swartland and Stellenbosch Chenin Blanc planted in the 80’s. Sémillon planted on sandstone and the chenin blanc mainly on granite. Sémillon gives oiliness with time, and that way depth and structure. Granite is all about minerality and grip.
